ARTICLE 1: PREAMBLE 

 

The purpose of this confidentiality policy is to inform users of the : 

  • How their personal data is collected. Personal data is any information that can be used to identify a user. This may include, in particular: first and last names, age, postal or e-mail address, telephone number, location or IP address, browsing history; 

  • On their rights concerning this data; 

  • Who is responsible for processing the personal data collected and processed? 

  • Recipients of personal data; 

  • The site's policy on cookies.

ARTICLE 2: PRINCIPLES RELATING TO THE COLLECTION AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA   

 

In accordance with Article 5 of European Regulation 2016/679, personal data is :   

  • Processed lawfully, fairly and transparently in relation to the data subject; 

  • Collected for specified, explicit and legitimate purposes (see Article 3.1 hereof) and not further processed in a way incompatible with those purposes; 

  • Adequate, relevant and limited to what is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed; 

  • Accurate and, where necessary, kept up to date. All reasonable steps must be taken to ensure that personal data which is inaccurate, having regard to the purposes for which it is processed, is erased or rectified without delay; 

  • Kept in a form which permits identification of data subjects for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which they are processed; 

  • Processed in such a way as to guarantee appropriate security of the data collected, including protection against unauthorised or unlawful processing and against accidental loss, destruction or damage, using appropriate technical or organisational measures. 

 

The collection and processing of personal data are lawful only if at least one of the following conditions is met: 

  • The data subject has consented to the processing of his/her personal data for one or more specific purposes;

  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is party or for the performance of pre-contractual measures taken at the request of the data subject; 

  • The processing is necessary to comply with a legal obligation to which the controller is subject; 

  • The processing is necessary to protect the vital interests of the data subject or of another natural person; 

  • The processing is necessary for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the controller; 

  • Processing is necessary for the purposes of the legitimate interests pursued by the controller or by a third party, unless the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require the protection of personal data prevail, in particular where the data subject is a child. 

 


ARTICLE 3: PERSONAL DATA COLLECTED AND PROCESSED WHEN BROWSING THE SITE 

 

Article 3.1: Data collected and purposes 

The personal data collected on the site RFN - société d'expertise comtpable are as follows: 

  • Identity data (e.g. surname, first name, postal address, e-mail address, fixed and/or mobile telephone number, company name, location), 

  • Data relating to a candidate's career (e.g. curriculum vitae, covering letter, training, position, experience),

  • Browsing data (e.g. IP address, browsing history such as pages viewed, clicks made). 

 

This data is collected and processed for the following purposes: 

  • For all sales and marketing communication and prospecting activities,

  • For managing face-to-face and remote registrations for webinars and training courses,

  • To provide information on the services offered, 

  • For registering and managing applications, 

  • To manage requests for rights of access, rectification, opposition and portability.

Article 3.2: Data collection method 

Personal data is collected when the user fills in one of the contact forms accessible on the site or, where applicable, via cookies placed on the browser during a visit to the site.  

 

They are kept by the data controller in reasonable security conditions for a period of three years from the last contact. 

 

The company may retain certain personal data beyond the above-mentioned periods in order to fulfil its legal or regulatory obligations.

Article 3.4: Transmission of data to third parties : 

Personal data collected by the site is not transmitted to any third party and is only processed by the site editor. 

 

Article 3.5: Cookies 

The RFN - société d'expertise comtpable site uses cookie technology to map user browsing behaviour and improve navigation and the user experience on the site. When users consult the site, cookies may be saved on the browsers of the medium used, whatever the terminal (computer, tablet, smartphone). By browsing the site, the user accepts them.

In particular, they are used to identify visitors and analyse the use of elements of the site. The statistical data obtained from these analyses is used to improve the site. At any time, users can decide to accept or refuse the use of cookies and modify their preferences.

The cookie has a validity period which varies according to the type of cookie and enables the user to be recognised the next time he or she uses the website. In any event, this period does not exceed 13 months.

Users may decide to accept or refuse cookies when browsing the site. To this end, an information banner appears beforehand on the site inviting users to accept cookies. As long as the user has not given his consent to the collection of cookies, no cookie may be placed on his terminal, with the exception of cookies exempt from the collection of consent insofar as they are strictly necessary for the provision of a service expressly requested by the user.

ARTICLE 5: THE USER'S RIGHTS WITH REGARD TO DATA COLLECTION AND PROCESSING 

All users concerned by the processing of their personal data may avail themselves of the following rights, pursuant to European Regulation 2016/679 and the Data Protection Act (Act 78-17 of 6 January 1978):   

  • Right of access, rectification and erasure of data (laid down in Articles 15, 16 and 17 of the GDPR respectively); 

  • Right to data portability (Article 20 of the GDPR) ; 

  • Right to restrict (Article 18 of the GDPR) and object to data processing (Article 21 of the GDPR); 

  • Right not to be subject to a decision based exclusively on an automated process ; 

  • Right to determine the fate of data after death ; 

  • Right to refer the matter to the competent supervisory authority (Article 77 of the GDPR).

In order for the data controller to process the user's request, the user may be required to provide certain information such as: surnames and first names, e-mail address and account, personal space or subscriber number.

ARTICLE 6: CONDITIONS FOR AMENDING THE PRIVACY POLICY 

The publisher of the RFN - société d'expertise comptable site reserves the right to modify this Confidentiality Policy at any time in order to ensure that users of the site comply with current legislation. 

Any changes shall not affect purchases previously made on the site, which shall remain subject to the Policy in force at the time of purchase and as accepted by the user when validating the purchase. 

Users are invited to familiarise themselves with this Policy each time they use our services, without it being necessary to formally notify them.
